Dear Conrad -- I am a Christian and the rest of my family is not. This has stored up resentment against me from my family members, my siblings wont even talk to me! How can I effectively witness to them when I can't even talk to them? --FamilyFrenzy
That’s always a tough situation to be in. In cases like this where you can’t talk to them, your witness will be your actions. The overarching theme in your life should be… JN 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. [35] By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
If you can’t talk to them, you can still love them. And through your loving actions and attitudes, maybe one of these days they’ll see Christ’s love in you and how your life is different because of it. Pray constantly for them, and with God’s grace maybe one or more of them will see Christ in you and be drawn to him through your example of his love.
