BRUTAL! That's it. BRUTAL! Straight up and no regrets for smashing your teeth in. They are fast, loud, angry and unforgiving in their convictions. They take a new avenue in the merging of hardcore and metal. Metallic hardcore has a new hero. 100 Demons is it. They are from Connecticut (why do all the good hardcore bands come from the Northeast! It makes me proud to be a Northeastener) and have found their own place in the always active hardcore scene of the east coast. 100 Demons takes a new approach with blending metal into hardcore and it will not disappoint. Don't think Zao, Converge, Blinding Light, Shadows Fall or Shai Hulud when I say metal and hardcore together. Think of Blood for Blood mixing with American Nightmare and then throw in Manowar type guitar riffs minus the minute long guitar solos. Musically these guys tear it up with metal laden riffs, double base pounding action and they have the perfect sounding front man to fit the sound...no screaming here. Lyrically, they are filled with anger and spite. I would love to see these guys live. I think they would tear it up and so would the crowd. New school and punishing. Check these guys out and get in the pit. From Blood for Blood to The Hope Conspiracy to Terror to Bane.
