A Jealousy Issue does decent for their genre, but that's sadly not enough to
save them. While the vocals have their charm (mainly due to their close
resemblance to that of the vocalist of Unashamed), the lyrics are insipid.
Lines such as 'I bleed through every single day with this burden labeled heart.
Worn thin by dissapointment. Hanging by a thread, a magnet for incisions."
aren't just laughable because of their cliches so much as they're hard to take
seriously since it would appear that any sixteen year old with an online journal
will be sure to steal them since they're 'relatable' and 'describe their
feelings inside'.
The music is good. It'll cause plenty of circle pits and get all of those
Hellfest kids to spinning with their bandannas and X's. But the lyrics are what
caused the death of this record because they're too laughable to look past in
order to see anything else.
