British psychedelic folk outfit Black Nielson have decided to split after they failed to secure a UK release of their last LP, Current Sunlight.
The album is only available through indie label Low Transit Industries. The four piece will play their last show at Truck Festival, five years after they played their first gig at the festival. Current Sunlight will remain available for streaming throughout August at last.fm.
Here's what the band had to say: "This weekend, after much thought and soul-searching Black Nielson decided to call it a day. We have had a wonderful five years of playing and writing together and would like to thank all of you for your support throughout this time".
"Thankyou all and good luck with Life Love and Music."
