There is too much stuff going on in this album and none of it is good. This band is pulled in so many directions that it is just ridiculous. If this record was put out a few years ago, I am sure that I would have heard some rapcore and some ska on it. It's nothing more than a combination of passing fads. It's a mix of Hawthorne Heights/Fall Out Boy and Underoath and all the other crap that is labeled as "punk", "emo" and "screamo". Bombshell passes all their talent on something that could be incredibly original and puts it all into something that will be forgotten in a few short years. All the high pitched pre-teen vocals mixed with "I'm so tough!" growling and screaming makes me want to cramp up with laughter. Add all this together and then throw in all the "I wish my girlfriend was dead/I am so lonely because you left me" lyrics you can handle and you have Bombshell. What a dud this one turned out to be. It will surely be on my top ten suckiest albums of 2006.
