A wise rabbit once said "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all." Besides the grammatical error of the double negative (hence changing the meaning to "if you can't say something nice, then say something"), I will try to heed the intention of such a statement.
This cd is pretty trendy sounding, and could very well pass for a slightly less polished underOATH, the Used, and my Chemical Romance. They pull off the sound without a flaw, a nice dose of screams without getting too heavy, a few breakdowns, some catchy choruses, and metaphorical lyrics about knives, blood, desolation, loneliness, and graves.
If that’s the kind of thing you’re looking for, I must admit, they do it quite well. If you’re looking for a stretching musical experience, I’m afraid I would be wasting my words and your time to go any further…
