England's biggest music festival has again delivered it's usual dose of chaos, mud and musical genius.
Glastonbury Festival goers have suffered under torrential rain which flooded much of the rural site and affected the sets of nearly every artist. Many festival goers who were camped in lower areas of the site returned to find their tents floating away. However, Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis was adamant the festival would continue. Speaking to
NME.com, Eavis said the rain was not a massive problem.
“What’s wrong with a bit of rain? Is it going to be alright? Of course it is! We’ve had two inches of rain and we’ve got to get some tents moved. The tents that are wet have got to be moved, that’s the only problem, they’ve got to go on higher ground. We’ve not closing any of the campsites, just moving the wet tents to higher ground.”
In other news, Ryan Adams has pulled out of the festival because of an ear infection.
