Ok, I guess this can be our official "press release" or whatever. I was waiting to figure out all the details before I told anybody, then I saw that Cliffy made numerous announcements so I figured I'd give a little towards the subject..

Cornerstone '05 will be the final Huntingtons show. We'll be on the Decapolis stage (where else?) at 8:15pm, Friday night, July 1st. As you probably heard, Cliffy will be playing guitar with us again for this show. Mike, Rick & I all talked about it & decided that its the best way to go out. He was a huge part of the band's history & I'm excited to share the stage with him again.

I'm really excited about this, and so are the other guys.. its gonna be a blast hangin with all you crazy kids again. I hope all the "regulars" from previous tours can come out and see us 1 last time. This is your last chance!... until, ya know, the reunion show a couple of years from now :)

This past year has been basically dead for the Huntingtons, musically, but we've all been real busy. We realized it isn't right for the band to continue & play a show every couple of months if we're not gonna be as good as we can be. That's how good bands fall into the "whatever happened to them" status, and we'd rather not go that route. Mike & Jen have a baby girl, Petra. I'm trying to finally graduate college. Rick's trying to pay off his credit cards from all the drums he bought... Life goes on, ya know?

Music's still a big part of each of our lives, but the Huntingtons have to hang it up. Its only right.

Anyway, I know its like half a year away, but tell all your friends to go to Cornerstone. If you hate Cornerstone, just go for 1 day! I promise its gonna be fun, and worth your trip.
