Asthmatic Kitty has announced a temporary supply problem with the critically lauded but legally troubled Sufjan Stevens LP Illinois.

Contrary to reports DC Comics never issued the label with a cease and desist letter in relation to an image of Superman on the cover of Illinois.

Rather it was the label’s legal eagles who first spotted the possible problem. DC Comics and Asthmatic Kitty reached an agreement allowing the label to sell the remaining copies of the original artwork and the accompanying album.

Asthmatic Kitty has said they expect the album to be back in stock sometime around July 26-28.
