Kill Me Tomorrow produce a sort of
new wave/no wave, gothic-tinged, industrial, electro-post punk. At least, that’s
what their press release says. In actuality, they are just another noisy
dance-punk band trying to appeal to the growing 80’s obsessive underground.
Beeping synths, annoying noises, and dubbed beats layer this overall mediocre
release. There are times that the album sounds decent, but for the most part the
disc is full of juvenile guitar riffs and distorted screamed/spoken vocals over
a background of filler-quality remix. However, Kill Me Tomorrow does have some
great ideas: each song is a story and a novel corresponding to the album will be
published later this year, and they include a 4 video DVD along with the album.
Unfortunately, their ideas are not enough to save the Garbage man and the
Prostitute.
