Imagine if you will, if the Sex Pistols were bedfellows with Blink-182, and you have Orange. Orange is a derivative and un-enjoyable pop punk band with more punk roots than your typical pop punk band, but no real substance. Songs about nihilism, misdirected rebellion and saying the f word simply because you can, is a great description of the ludicrous lyrics on Welcome to the World of… Though some songs are fun, they are often mired in repetition or with lyrics seemingly devoid of intelligence or purpose. I thought about retorting the message of this album from a Christian perspective, but I just don’t feel it’s worth it. This is seriously the stupidest CD I’ve had to review, and due to its stupidity it would be far too easy and like beating up on a kindergartener.
