Elegant pop types The Cardigans will deliver their latest LP, Super Extra Gravity, world-wide on October 17.

The album is preceded by the single ”I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer" and both main protagonists are individually sighting Pixies as their major influence during the writing of the album.

Unfortunately Nina Persson won't be busting out anything like the wail of Gigantic or the freak-out of Where Is My Mind. Her mind is perfectly cool despite those startling reports in New Yorker and News of the World about her having a hamster for a pet.
