The Trouble was alive during the years of 1995-1999. They tore apart the Boston hardcore scene during those four years. They paved the way for so many new school hardcore bands, especially American Nightmare and Kill Your Idols. The Trouble didn't build any new roads or bridges within the genre and took their influences from bands like Slapshot, The F.U.'s and Jerry's Kids but they did what they did and they did it well. "Nobody Laughs Anymore" is a re-issue on Bridge Nine Records of their 1998 album of the same name. It was released on GMM Records and has been long out of print (I actually have a copy of that release that I got five years ago). "Nobody Laughs Anymore" is an unheard classic hardcore/punk album. If you listened to it today you would hear their music in some of your favorite hardcore bands of today. There is also a bonus track of the Joy Division song "Insight" and it's a really great cover. This is a solid re-issue of a hard to get classic. Solid.
