Hardcore quartet Thrice remain in the studio working on the follow up to their breakthrough 2003 album
The Artist In The Ambulance.
Writiing earlier today on the
offical Thrice website, drummer Riley Breckenridge said the band has tracking done for 10 of the 15 songs they plan to record for the as yet untitled album. "We spent most of this week doing overdubs, vocals, experimenting with shooting drum loops into the forest, and messing with guitar tones. Today, we went up to this old house up the hill from the studio and recorded some group vocals and piano tracks (on a busted old piano) in a room with a huge vaulted ceiling."
The album is expected to be released before the end of this year.
