Victory Records has added another exclusively distributed label to its growing roster of distributed companies.

 

Los Angeles based XDOANEX, a DVD label, will now be exclusively distributed by Victory in North America. XDOANEX is owned and operated by critically acclaimed videographer and filmmaker Darren Doane. Director Darren Doane has distinctly shaped the image of hardcore and punk, with over 200 videos under his belt and counting. Bringing a sense of vision and respect to heavy music, Doane’s videos combined style with substance without sacrificing the integrity of his subjects. Although Doane has worked with such multi-platinum acts as Blink 182, Unwritten Law and Jimmy Eat World, his passion for the underground has never ceased.

 

The first release in November will be a DVD titled “The Shape of Videos To Come” featuring Every Time I Die, The Beautiful Mistake, A Static Lullaby, The Juliana Theory, Funeral For A Friend, Spitalfield and more. Four DVD titles are scheduled for the first quarter of 2005. “I have known Darren for close to ten years and am a big fan of all of his work. He is a creative force. Darren has shown this in over 200 music videos, various films and his more recent Battle Rap series. Darren is passionate about music and film. The fans know this and that is why he has such an enormous following,” said Victory owner Tony Brummel.
