Nate: I guess to start, for those out there who may not know you, tell me a little about what you do and what your involved with.

Tim: What's up, my name is Tim Mason and I play guitar for No Innocent Victim.

Nate: If you fought for G.I Joe, who would you be?

Tim: If I fought for GI Joe, I would definitely be Snake Eyes, that guy is so tuff and he doesn't say a word.

Nate: Worst action star…Van Damme or Segal?

Tim: They both are horrible, but I can't stand Van Damme's attitude. Besides I could take them both.

Nate: When you're not out on tour, what's a typical day like for you?

Tim: Well, I usually just work as much as I can. Pretty boring huh?

Nate: What do you think the next year will hold for the band?

Tim: We are recording our new album now and it should be out in May. We have a little over a month planned as far as a tour for the summer but we have just been concentrating on this album.

Nate: How has being on Victory Records changed things?

Tim: It's been good. They have awesome distribution and they really get behind their bands.

Nate: How has your relationship with Christ effected your view on N.I.V.?

Tim: It's all about our relationship with God, why we do any of this. Being in a band is hard, a lot of things come up but we are all accountable to each other. That in turn just strengthens our relationship with God by leaps and bounds. I hope I didn't confuse you.

Nate: When did you become a Christian?

Tim: Well my dad is a pastor so I've grown up in the church. But I really got serious and straight when I was about 14 years old.

Nate: What new bands have been grabbing your attention recently?

Tim: This band The Deal is just awesome. They're just good oi! punk rock. They sound a lot like the anti-heroes.

Nate: If there were a competition for the best California band who would win?

Tim: Us of course. No, I don't know. They're are so many different bands in California, different styles mean, just so many.

Nate: I'm guessing you love music (being in band), what started that fire?

Tim: Four words, Agnostic Front, "One Voice." When I heard that album I can't even explain. But the sole reason I play music is to just be obedient to what God has for me.

Nate: What was the first album you ever bought?

Tim: Madball, "Ball of Destruction." I'm pretty sure that was it. I bought it about a year before "Set it Off" came out.

Nate: Who in your opinion is the best hardcore band of all time?

Tim: Actually I have two, but they are kind of the same. I love Agnostic Front and Madball, they are my favorite. I would also have to say xdisciplex.

Nate: Getting to play all over the country, which has the better hardcore scene, East Coast or West Coast?

Tim: I don't know. They both have good qualities. It's really hard to say. I couldn't tell you.

Nate: What's the best city to play in?

Tim: Ah, don't do this to me. Probably Corona, California at the Showcase Theatre. That place is awesome.

Nate: Where do you see the next two years taking you?

Tim: Hopefully to a new level. I also hope just a lot more kids get into us and buy our albums.
